Internships with Etiv do Brasil
ETIV do Brasil (Educate, Transform, Integrate, and Value our community) is a nonprofit committed to promoting sustainable development and improving the quality of life for people in the local communities of the Cocoa Coast in Itacaré, southeastern Bahia, Brazil. Operating since 2015, the organization works towards their mission to support youth development promoting environmental conservation, and guided by the core values of empathy, respect, honesty, truth, generosity & care. Etiv do Brasil offers a range of projects that contribute to the advancement of social justice and sustainable development, with a deep focus on community integration.
Their main focus is to improve environmental conservation for the area’s unique flora, fauna, and habitats. They aim to achieve this through educational programs to empower youth, develop local leadership, and to create positive sustainable change. In this they give special focus to youth development. They hope to realize their vision of a world where people care for each other and the environment by creating a new generation of conservation leaders. Through hands-on experience, interns can achieve individual and professional development by working in a multicultural environment, helping to create more equality and opportunities for the local community of Itacaré, contributing to a world with more companionship and protection of ecosystems.
